How do resolvers work now?

ok so i got a question. I been thinking a lot about Resolvers lately and just wanted to know if one of my theories applies to a kinda accurate resolver

1. you just match the lby with the eye postitons and you can work from there

2. you use the attachments as a point onto where to resolve since as far as ive seen the player hitbox has the attachments still on him
(If im wrong just write it)

i would really like to know if a resolver works in any of these ways?

once used in Llama's payhack and still present in some russian p2c's is the so called Playback Rate Delta Resolver. take a look at Llama's old hack in IDA or look at l3d's leaked hack. It's pretty effective and is probably one of the best ways of detecting the desync side that is public. Keep in mind, Layer 6 only gets triggered while moving.
